Base Metal: CCSB, ASTM A516 GR70,etc
Interlayer Metal: Titanium or Titanium Alloy
Clad Metal: All types of Aluminum Alloy
Standard: CB1343-1998, etc
The aluminum-titanium-steel transition joint is a 3-layered explosively bonded material, generally composed of aluminum alloy, pure titanium and steel, of which the pure titanium layer is the intermediate transition layer. The interlayer metal of titanium layer can effectively reduce the production of brittle intermetallic compounds, greatly improve the stability of the steel-aluminum connection, and avoid the occurrence of cracking accidents on the steel-aluminum bonding surface under extreme conditions.
The structure transition joints are not only used in shipbuilding industry, but also used as transition parts between dissimilar metals in other industries, such as machinery, vehicle engineering, offshore platforms, nuclear energy, etc.
